Dr. Sánchez is an internist doctor who graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). With over ten years’ experience in veterans’ health services, he is one of the first doctors to specialize in United States war veterans in this region.
Having graduated from the Central University of the East in San Pedro de Macorís, Dr. Lake specialized in general medicine in the Military Hospital Dr. Ramon de Lara, in Santo Domingo. She is empathetic, hard-working, and honest.
Dr. González graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) in 2017. A general practitioner with experience in public and private health services, Dr. Gonzalez provides medical care with a human yet candid and practical approach, focused both on the veterans’ immediate needs and the up-keep of their long-term goals.
Dr. Maritza Amaya Almanzar Mejía graduated from medical school from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, Santiago, in the Dominican Republic. She completed a specialism in psychiatry with a sub-specialty in geriatric psychiatry at the Maimonides University in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
With vast experience treating people with different kinds of pathologies, Miss Genao offers an evidence-based practice focused on prevention, effective treatment, and patient education. Graduating at the very top of her peers, with a distinction from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Miss Genao strives for the same level of excellence with every patient with whom she works.
Elisa graduated from The Catholic University of Santo Domingo (UCSD) with a degree in rehabilitation, physical therapy, and manual orthopedic treatment training. She has extensive and far-reaching experience in vestibular and psychomotor rehabilitation, pain management, and physical exercise techniques such as Pilates.
Dr. Ramírez is an Internal Medicine specialist and graduate of Ciudad Sanitaria Dr. Luis E. Aybar. He received his title in General Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo with a Cum Laude degree.
Leidy Sanchez is a physical therapist who graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Santiago. She has a certificate in flexibility and mobility, and also in speech therapy. Her professional approach is to preserve, restore, and increase the health level of each patient, to improve their quality of life, with genuine empathy and compassion.
Ms. Rodriguez has over 10 years of physical therapy experience. During her practice she has been treating veterans exclusively for the past six years. She graduated with a degree in physical therapy from PUCMM. Ms. Rodríguez has training in global postural and manual therapy techniques with considerable experience in pain management and therapeutic yoga.
Ms. Rodriguez is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a master’s degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in General Psychology from Rutgers University.
