Dr. Ramírez is an Internal Medicine specialist and graduate of Ciudad Sanitaria Dr. Luis E. Aybar. He received his title in General Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo with a Cum Laude degree. As part of his professional career, he has received training in various areas of internal medicine, such as in Emergency Medicine, the Polyvalent Intensive Care Unit, Neurological, Cardiovascular and Hemodynamic care, and follow-up care of in-hospital patients and outpatients. He has also participated in various courses and seminars relating to internal medicine. As a specialist, Dr. Ramirez is in charge of realizing the diagnosis of puzzling medical problems, the ongoing care of chronic illnesses, and in caring for patients with more than one disease, such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and heart disease. As an Internist, he also specialized in health promotion and disease prevention.
